Responsibilities. Administer production, development and test databases
. Perform warranty change outs/upgrades on Databases and other Windows servers
. Develop proactive monitoring of SQL databases to assure maximum uptime and minimum interruption to users of the databases and provide support/direction for existing SQL database applications
. Monitor database performance and tune databases where and when necessary
. Install, upgrade and patch databases as necessary
. Define, design, and implement new databases in conjunction with the development staff
. Administer SQL Server Reporting Services
. Participate in the design and installation of a data warehouse and perform its on-going maintenance
. Define, develop and implement hardware, licensing, monitoring, and data backup requirements
. Develop innovative solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, aggressive implementation schedules, reporting, and adherence to good practices

Qualifications: . 2+ years of demonstrated experience using Microsoft SQL Server in a corporate environment
. Experience with SQL Reporting Services is a plus
. Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
