NetEffects is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer - Pega 

Responsible for the system administration of multiple Pega systems PRPC environments.  This includes code promotions, product builds, upgrades, and general environment support. 

Major Accountabilities:  

Plan, design and develop technical solutions and alternatives to meet system administration needs in adherence with standards, processes and best practices. Administer and maintain multiple environments and versions of PRPC including Frameworks. 

Education:  

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience. 

Knowledge/Experience: 

• PRPC Systems Administration
• Pega PRPC certified professional  preferred
• Version 5.X + 2 years experience
• Java 3+ years experience
• WebSphere Preferred
• RAD Preferred
• Experience working with Oracle
• XML, HTTP, SOAP
• Agile experience preferred

Skills/Abilities:

• Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and have the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment.
• Must provide the necessary skills to have a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results.
