Job Description: The QA Analyst will provide research, analysis, design, execution, maintenance and/or support of testing solutions that are appropriate to the application, solution and project as assigned. A key responsibility is the hands n maintenance, development and execution of test cases. BILINGUAL FRENCH PREFERRED with; •Solid knowledge of QA methodologies •Financial Industry experience would be preferable • Able to working within a dynamic, fast –paced environment •Can build test cases/ write strategies and test plans •Conducting meetings with developers and PM’s around defect resolutions •Superior communication skills are key to success •This individual must be able to read and test cases/ business strategies and be able to pick up grammatical errors This team is working on technologically innovative projects on WEB 2.0
•Review documentation to understand testing requirements, test environments and objectives •Identify, develop and document test scenarios and/or test cases •Participate in test planning, assist in preparing various testing documentation (e.g. test strategy, test plan, defect management plan, schedule etc.) and test results walkthroughs •Analyze, develop, debug, execute and maintain automated test cases within the testing environment •Perform Business Acceptance Testing for Infosites. •Execute test cases within the testing environment, ensuring accuracy and record test results / defects and obtain approval •Maintain and provide accurate testing status reports during testing phases and maintain documentation of test results according to defined processes / tools (including HP Quality Centre) •Participate in post implementation reviews and processes (e.g. lessons learned, post-install application verifications etc.) •Assist in the preparation of a test result walkthroughs / presentations to the project team and business representatives •Apply and follow established testing best practices •Complete tasks according to project timelines/schedules and costs •Recommend process improvements where appropriate •Writes test cases ranging basic to complex using business Requirements and Design Documents •Works collaboratively to identify solutions and resolve problems •Provides input to the estimation process for the testing and reporting effort •Provides direction and assigns test tasks to a test execution team. May act as a working lead. •Intermediate professional level of this role accountable for participating in a broad range of testing activities
