Job Description

Trial Technology Consultant

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the preparation and presentation of evidence for trial, arbitrations, mediations, hearings, jury research and client meetings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide expert consulting services to litigation teams on the effective application of trial communication methods and multimedia presentations.
Assist in the identification, development, and presentation of trial themes.
Coordinate the development of demonstrative graphics that enhance persuasion opportunities.
Participate in trial preparation activities, including the collection and organization of evidence.
Design and implement custom database, imaging & trial presentation systems to support complex cases.
Develop mobile data support systems for full offsite war room capability.
Design courtroom display schematics and install presentation equipment.
 

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER JOB-RELATED COMPETENCIES:

Advanced facility with legal presentation software (Sanction, Trial Director, etc.).
Expertise in graphic design applications (PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc)
Understanding of digital video processing and editing (Adobe Premiere, etc.).
Facility with legal imaging and transcript management databases (Concordance, Livenote).
Advanced PC-based computer skills (Windows XP & MS Office).
50% - 75% travel required.
Ability to fulfill conflicting priorities in a high-stakes, high-stress environment.
Effective leadership, team building and problem solving ability.
Strong data management and organizational skills.
Clear and concise oral and written communication.
High level of professionalism.
 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelors degree.             
Minimum of two years of trial technology administration and operations experience required.
Attorney, legal assistant, litigation/practice support or other litigation-related experience preferred.
