Service Technician/Trainer II - The qualified candidates will be responsible for performing repairs to our client's manufactured devices and to train their customer repair technicians in repair of our client's manufactured devices
Job Description:
- Troubleshoot, repair and calibration of all of our Client's products
- Update repair activity in service data base
- Perform technical repair support on the phone or via email to assist our Client's dealer network
- Must be an expert technician
- Will assist in engineering evaluations and failure analysis reporting
- Must perform repair training to our Client's dealer network
Skills:
- Must be able to train junior technicians and dealer technicians in a class environment
- Must be able to write operating procedures
- Must be familiar with basic test equipment, such as but not limited to multi-meters and oscilloscopes to diagnose and adjust optical, mechanical and electronic instruments
- Must have ability to read and interpret schematics and mechanical drawings
- Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office products to prepare reports and presentations
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
Experience:
4 + years experience in a related function
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems
Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory
Must be customer service oriented and believe in team work
Education:
AA degree in electronics or related technology, or equivalent military training
Knowledge of two or more of our Client's product lines
Additional Information:
20% travel may be required
Work in a climate controlled environment 40 hour/week and overtime as required
