PLA is seeking a professional to join our team for day-to-day onboardingscheduling
esourcing of projects and project-based consultants, addressing time sensitive client needs head on and assisting Solution Group Leaders and Operations Managers in the successful delivery of high quality services to our client community. Responsible for assisting Project Managers and Account Managers with developing scopes of work for new opportunities (hours and costs of work performed).
Responsibilities:
- Onboarding of new projects and MSAs based on client need and resource:
- Working with Ops Mgrs to verify project needs as far as hours, resources, skill set, project start date, etc.
- Working with leadership across all groups within Managed Services to schedule project-based resources appropriately
- Working with consultants across all groups within Managed Services on their addsmoveschangesdeletions to the schedule
- Proactively identify gaps in consultant schedules and work with Operations ManagerSGLs to secure client work or trainingself-development opps. (Bench Management)
- First line contact with clients on availability and reallocation of resources when necessary, Re-assignment of resources when additional client needs arise based on existing scheduleworkload
- Sending out schedule on daily basis to MS
- Working with SMEs, MCs, SCs and Sales to build Scopes of Work for project based opportunities
- Deal registrations for Product (HW, SW) w Business Partners and Vendors
- Add New Clients and New Projects to Microsoft CRMSolomon
- Product Purchasing for Managed Solutions
- Maintain client references documentation (MS Client list, CRM)
- Maintain consultant biographies
- New Employee, Certification & Extraordinary Effort Announcements
- Coordination of Managed Solutions Training Sessions “Lunch & Learns”
- Assist consultants as needed with general support
- Weekly Monthly updates and additions of all MS CRM entries
- Identify other business opportunities (sales influence)
- Maintain Employee Skill Set database
- Assist with building “As built” client deliverable documentation for project engagements
- Maintain Client Documentation on IntranetExtranet
Experience Requirements:
- 5+ Yrs experience in the IT field – Consulting experience a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent typing, grammar and spelling skills
- Strong background in Time Management for large groups of people (Resource scheduling, Bench Management, etc.)
- Technical experience with Microsoft technologies to assist in writing Scopes of WorkProposals
- Proficiency in MS Office
- MS Project a plus
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM Solomon Expertise a plus
- Extremely Strong Organizational skills a must
- Technical Writing background a plus
- Must be able to focus on process driven work on a daily basis, but also be able to switch gears and deal with “off the cuff” or impromptu situations as they arise
- General Project Management background a plus – must be able to work with multiple PMs and resources to fill schedules properly due to project delays, etc.
