Job Description

My client is a 288-bed, JCAHO accredited Medical Center licensed by the state of South Carolina. We are looking for a strong DIRECTOR OF PSYCHIATRY to join our team. The ideal candidate will be:

Responsible for the department direction and coordination of activities
Implement standards and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of care
Full administrative responsibility for psychiatric program development
Work collaboratively with hospital staff & administration to personalize the strategic plan.
Lead and participate in development of programs and services to meet the needs of the community.
Bachelors degree req'd, (Masters degree pref)
5+ years of job-related experience preferred. Experience in managing psychiatric inpatient and outpatient programs in an acute care facility including at least 2 years experience in the specialty area is required. Management experience is required
Must have hospital IInpatient/Outpatient exp
BLS upon hire, CPI within orientation period
