Web Applications Interface Designer, Columbia, MD

Our client, a leading Baltimore based organization is seeking an experienced Web Applications Interface Designer to join their Web team.

Responsibilities:

• Tasked with the overall conception and development by providing design techniques focused on the user’s experience
• Designs Application Interfaces based upon functionality and usability to overall produce a stronger work flow
• Canvasses’ Applications in developing storyboards, mockups and communicates design ideas with internal team
• Works closely with Projects team such as: Business Analysts, Web Designers and Programmers in defining and designing Applications based within current design of website
• Serves as a Subject Matter Expert in providing guidance to Web Development and Design team in overall User Experience
• Delivers creative design within company’s currently established framework, stays abreast with layout policies, typography and other standards

 Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in Web Application User Interface Design
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Previous leadership experience is highly preferable
• Ability to work within a technical environment and transfer ideas into conception
• Experience working within HTML, CSS, HTML5, Flash is required
• Excellent communication skills and previous client facing experience
• Strong attention to detail and can manage multiple projects
