Sr Solutions Architect Requirements

Perficient Dallas is looking for a Solutions Architect with a solid broad background in Microsoft Technologies.  An ideal candidate will have experience working as an Enterprise Architect / Technical Architect with primary focus on the Microsoft Platform as delivery.  We are looking for someone with a breadth of experience that can also leverage their experience to rapidly go "deep" in a specific technology for design and delivery.  A solid foundation in .Net development is a factor in the delivery of all these technologies.

The candidate is a critical client-facing resource that must be able to communicate and facilitate sessions with all layers in the organization.  The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in translating business requirements to a justifiable platform selection, a technical system architecture, and application design. The resource will be required to accurately estimate level of efforts and staffing requirements for delivery of the architected solutions.  During delivery, the resource will be responsible for hands on delivery  (installation/configuration/code) of the solution (this is not a hands-off design role).  In addition, they will be responsible for leading technical teams and providing coaching and mentoring on technical skills to junior resources.

The resource will be utilized across multiple projects (potentially partially allocated to multiple concurrent projects).  The resource must be able to exercise sound prioritization judgment, multitask, and plan and communicate to each workstream appropriately.

Ideally, the candidate will demonstrate a working knowledge of multiple platforms preferably in the MSFT technologies mentioned:

• ·         Portal - Primary Skill set needed (SharePoint, SiteCore, Commerce Server, or similar portal solution)
• ·         Enterprise Development
• ·         Custom .Net Development using C#, Asp.Net, Entity Framework (EF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF)
• ·         Database Design and Development using SQL Server Database, T-SQL
• ·         Reporting using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• ·         Prefer some Business Intelligence  using Microsoft BI solutions (SSRS, SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL Server Integration Services, Performance Point, Power Pivot, etc.)
