My Client, a leading Organization based in NYC, is seeking a Manager of Compensation and Employment responsible for researching, planning, developing, implementing, analyzing, and administering compensation programs, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
This candidate will work closely with all levels of management ensuring that their compensation program supports the organizations goals.
•Identify, conduct, and participate in appropriate compensation surveys
•Evaluate and analyze internal/external compensation data
•Assist in developing enhanced compensation administration processes, leveraging new technology as feasible and appropriate
•Create and analyze complex reports from relational databases; report findings and trends to management
•Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing compensation
•Lead and administer compensation programs and related communication
•Independently oversee ad hoc projects
Experience and Skills:
•Five years of experience in compensation required
•Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and partnering skills
•Experience with human resources information systems is required, Lawson preferred
•Ability to proficiently create reports using multiple database reporting tools is required, experience with Crystal preferred
•Knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation and employment laws
•Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required
•Familiar with standard policies, practices, and procedures within the Human Resources field
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or in a related field required
