We are currently seeking an Experienced Civil Engineer with Roadway Experience for our Client who is a well-known successful Canadian EPC firm.

Responsibilities:

Preparing and assisting with the preparation of work plans and budgets for proposals;
Assisting senior design personnel with the coordination and work of projects;
Conducting field surveys with a radian IS GPS System as well as use of EDM Equipment
Construction Supervision at various construction sites located in a number of provinces across Canada
Conducting site inspections with engineering field staff for site surveys, condition reports and construction inspection; Assisting in the preparation of reports, including Design Briefs and applications for funding.
Assisting in the design/construction of civil type projects.

Skills
Civil Engineering Diploma
5+ years experience in CAD design in the field of civil engineering, in particular storm systems and road works.
Proficiency with AutoCad, Land Development Desktop, and preferably, Civil 3D.
Excellent MS Word and Excel abilities
Construction experience with field reviews and contract administration
Experience in engineering consulting will be considered an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
