Responsibilities

- Develop a trading platform for the Japan equity trading busines

- Design and develop of message based application

- Define architecture and choose appropriate technology stack (existing vs. new) for implementation of new platfor

- On-going maintenance, release and deployment

- Work closely with the global teams on application changes and provide specifications for development work done by global teams

Requirements

- Front /Middle Office development experience; ability to display that candidate can multitask and perform in a time pressured environment

- Unix/Linux experience

- Advanced C++, shell scripting and Perl (Python a plus)

- Advanced Sybase Transact SQL skills, stored procs

This role is open to qualified candidates in Japan who are self-starters and who can work with minimal supervision.
