Our client is a leading manufacturer of pumps and related equipment and are seeking an experienced Product Development Engineer. Pump experience is not mandatory.

This position is responsible for design and development of pumps and compressors, by application of analytical and value engineering principles, products, and/or product modifications. A successful candidate will work along side team members, communicating with both internal and external customers, be able to troubleshoot issues as well as work independently. 

We want to talk with candidates who hold at minimum a BS in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with 5 or more years of product and machine design experience. Proficiency with casting, machining and injection molding is highly desirable. Candidates should posses demonstrated project management skills, along with Algor, SolidWorks, and finite element analysis (FEA) tools experience. The understanding of centrifugal pumps, hydraulics, fluid dynamics, sealing technology, materials, and industry standards is extremely desirable.

This position requires US citizenship.
