Business Intelligence Architect

·         In-Depth Understanding of DW/BI/ ETL/Reporting Architecture and relevant experience in one of the industry standard ETL/Reporting tools.  

 ·         Good Understanding of DW BI principles and how they can be well architected and defined with in applications  

·         Experience in ETL/reporting tools building ETL scripts/Graphs/ Dashboards or enterprise reporting applications using MSTR  

·         Ability to handle high volume of data for different kind of data stores across different databases  

·         Understanding of Dimension modeling concepts and ability to understand High-level business needs and articulate to define good design and reporting requirements  

·         Ability to interact with different project groups and IT divisions to communicate the solution  

·         Good design and hands on Knowledge of ETL/Reporting tools  

·         Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server databases,  

 ·         Good understanding of design principles  

·         Hands on experience in using Industry standard ETL/Reporting tools  

·         Ability to create design documents for various high-level and low level business needs  

·         Ability to develop & Design projects to support different users and multiple reports  

·         Good understanding of different concepts of the tool  

·         Ability to handle and design scalable high applications  

·         Ability to Migrate projects / objects from one version to another and from one environment to other  

·         Is able to bring best of breed design into system landscape decisions

·         Responsible for development, integration, administration, and evolution of the data warehouse;

? Provide technical expertise in the design, implementation, maintenance, security, and delivery of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse systems and services;
? Provide technical designs for the data warehouse, data marts, cubes, and presentation approaches that meet business requirements;
? Ensure that BI strategies are aligned with organizational goals and objectives by creating data model that deliver valued arrest information to clients and internal users;
? In conjunction with technical staff, conduct regular periodic review of system configurations and recommend changes as necessary to maintain service level objectives;
? Review Report Requirements, make modifications to existing reports, dashboards, and reporting system;
? Closely interact with vendor, stakeholders, functional experts, business analysts, contractors, and developers to understand the system requirements and architect and design the data models and database schema based on the arrest requirements;
? Mentor and coach staff on BI design, development and operational techniques and principles.

Requirements:

? 5+ years experience with Data Warehouse Architecture (star schema, snowflakes, dimensional databases, Kimball methodology) and Data Warehouse performance tuning;

? Experience working with MS SQL Server 2005/2008

?       Experience with Informatica and SSIS

? Experience working with SSRS and Business Objects Experience with SharePoint and experience developing KPIs, executive dashboards, and scorecards

? Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field;
