This position is responsible for environmental air support to refinery operations as directed by the Environmental Manager and defined by the needs of the refinery. Position responsibilities may also include environmental air support for pipelines and terminals.

Key Elements: Provide technical assistance and regulatory support to refinery staff on air issues at the Federal and State level. Provide specific compliance based efforts in support of the Title V operating permit and new source review regulations. Provide support to the environmental staff in the areas of compliance reporting and specified environmental field assignments. Provide support to the refinery technical staff and Salt Lake City corporate office in the application of project permit applications. Participate on audit teams to monitor environmental compliance at various operating facilities.

 

Required Skills: A minimum of a BS degree in Chemical Engineering or other related Engineering degree.

 

Minimum 5 years experience in environmental air work, compliance and permitting. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in computation and Microsoft Office Word, Excel etc.
