Provides leadership and performs a variety of duties relating to the Clinical Information Systems applications, specifically supporting and maintaining the Epic Electronic Medical Record system.

Responsibilities include: Providing leadership and serving as technical resource to the team; Lead a team responsible for level 2 phone support and 24x7 pager support, perfom maintenance of system master files, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing EHR enhancements, participation in system upgrades and updates, status and measures reporting to management.  Presenting and communicating findings, analysis and options to Health System executives and clinical leaders. Participating in planning, developing, training, implementation, and evaluation of new projects, along with ongoing operation support for all components of the programs.

Education/Experience:
Associate or bachelor degree in Information Techology, or equivalent.
Experience with analysis, build, implementation and support of healthcare information systems, Epic prefered.
Experience leading a customer support organization.
Academic institution or large integrated health system experience preferred.
Experience working with clinical information systems or system implementation teams for complex projects and/or aplication development.
Experience working with interfaced/integrated multi-vendor applications preferred.
