Position Title: Food Plant Account Manager
Position Summary: The Account Manager plays a critical role in the success of our company. It is the responsibility of the Food Plant Account Manager to grow sales in a profitable manner, manage and service existing customers with Plant Sanitation Chemicals and equipment for the food, dairy, meat, pharmaceutical and beverage industries.

q The Account Manager must be a self-starter and driven by success.
q The Account Manager must have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and be capable of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and potentially other computer programs in the future.
q The Account Manager is responsible for managing his/her assigned customers in a professional manner following company policies at all times.
q The Account Manager should possess a basic knowledge of chemistry and an understanding of food plant sanitation practices. He/She will be required to be proficient in operating a field test kit.
q The Account Manager may perform chemical testing, quality analysis, write service and prospect reports, implement product inventory controls, place product orders, conduct safety training and business review meetings as well as troubleshoot various equipment, chemical, and microbiological issues.
q The Account Manager must possess excellent sales skills. He/She must be capable of performing food plant sanitation audits/inspections. After compiling the information necessary, he/she needs to be capable of presenting the information and closing the sale.
q The Account Manager is responsible for collecting past due invoices from customers who have not paid their bills within Company policy or credit terms.
q The Account Manager will be responsible for understanding the complete line of chemicals and equipment products.
q The Account Manager is responsible for meeting his/her yearly sales and expense budgets.
q It is the responsibility of the Account Manager to use the sales reports and other tools provided to them to professionally manage their territories. Examples: Invoices, Aged Receivables Report, Sales Reports, etc.
q The Account Manager must have a positive, can-do attitude and be a continual goodwill ambassador for the company.
