Job Description

Despearately in need of seasoned Informatics Pharmacists for many facilities in and around the greater Boston area. Candidates must meet the following requirements:


Minimum Qualifications: 

Education and Experience:  

B.S. in Pharmacy 


Licensure, Certification, Registration:  

Registered Pharmacist in MA. 

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:     

? Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel. 
? Knowledge of drugs and their indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects, and proper administration. 
? Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards. 
? Ability to supervise and train assigned staff. 
? Skill in the use of personal computers and ability to master all related software applications. 
? Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. 
? Ability to manipulate and refine large amounts of data using appropriate PC applications. 
? Ability to work professionally with staff members and diligently with the public. 
? Ability to work under stress. 
? Requires knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and procedures and, clinical and automation systems. 
? Requires analytical skills to evaluate IT/IS based systems and trouble shoot problems with real times solutions.  
? Requires strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with the Hospital Staff in making recommendations, assisting in resolving problems concerning IT & IS based systems.  

Experience:     

At least 3 years of directly related experience including prior experience implementing and configuring vendor software in a clinical setting.
