One of the world’s largest International energy companies, which is also a large oil and gas operating company, is looking to expand its team in London.

A requirement has arisen within their London office for an experienced project accountant to join on a contract basis.

Description:        

Deliver timely and accurate joint venture and revenue accounting. Responsible for budgeting, reporting, cost control and asset team and partner relationships for a range of joint venture assets

Duties will also involve

1) Joint venture accounting (including analysis of partner-operated billings and maintaining control sheets comparing incurred costs against budgets)

2) Production / Sales and Tariff Accounting (including preparation of sales invoices and reconciling sales debtor accounts)

3) General - Liaison with senior management / meeting reporting deadlines and involvement in ad hoc project work

Qualifications:

Part qualified accountant                            

SAP and Sun accounts experience is desirable

Organisational and communication skills                               

Experience of upstream oil & gas industry highly beneficial

ICAA chartered beneficial
