Global Aerospace client is looking for a high-profile Project Design Engineer to oversee a large project involving many products. Will work with internal and external clients and cross-functional teams. Will plan work packages, scheduling, sub-scheduling, do heavy reporting, run status meetings, work with risk assessment, risk management and perform Earned Value analysis. Must have BSEE or similar and 10+ yrs' experience with Aerospace project management and hands-on design engineering (must be recent) including MS Project, cabin pressure or electronic controls background, heavy reporting, strong communication skills, risk management planning and mitigation, experience with Supply Chain, Earned Value analysis and systems, etc. Must have embedded controls and digital electronics background, detailed design phase experience, DO-178B and/or DO-160 and be able to drive execution. PMI Certification highly desired. Position is 2+ years in duration (most likely 3 years) and benefits are provided, however relocation is not provided.
