Leading company in the communications and cloud computing space is looking for a Sr. Level Java Server Side Engineer to work in their corporate headquarters in San Mateo.

The company has tens of thousands of customers and their product line is award winning. They are backed by some of the most prominent VC companies in Silicon Valley.

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the following-
- 5+ Years of Experience in Java Server Side and Web Technologies
- Knowledge of Tomcat, JBoss, Spring, JSF
- Knowledge of Javascript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML (To note, this position is a Server Side Java Position. You will not be programming in these languages but you will be working on technology that speaks to the front end so being familiar with the Web 2.0 is important. The ideal candidate will have done some development on the front end.)
- Knowledge of RDBMS.
- Deep understanding of web protocols, formats, and architectures.

Also, to note, this position requires occasional travel (1x/quarter for 1 week) to Russia.

This position can offer a competitive base salary up to $130K + Benefits + Stock Options.
