Lomg Term Temporary Procurement Position in Marietta, Pennsylvania scheduled to last from April 9th, 2012 through October 8th, 2013.
Qualified individual will be responsible for supporting the procurement plans for the site and
Working with the Technical Facilities side of procurement with emphasis on but not limited to Services Procurement.
The job responsibilities will include:
*Execution of purchase requisitions
*Evaluate purchase requisitions for best sourcing options
*Handle challenges to sole/single/limited sourced commodities and avoiding procurement issues
*Able to use SAP Procurement systems to execute purchase order, research procurement data and provide standard reports.
*Able to review contracts of vendors/suppliers to ensure adherence to terms, performance and service level agreements.
*Execute bids, provide analysis, select suppliers and resolve procurement issues.
*Maintain ownership of purchase order from beginning to end.
The successful hire will have a strategic mindset, with the ability to interface with complex clients, both internal and external. Peer interaction within Philadelphia and Belgium. The ability to be proactive and to create strong relationships with a worldwide network is imperative. Report results on a savings and cost avoidance.
Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
Experience with SAP preferred but not required
Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
