Position Description

 

 Responsible for the management and leadership of the Ogden Program Office

 Develops objectives, policies, programs, and tool development as required for the IDIQ Alliance and account maintenance activities of the market segment.

 In conjunction with all applicable SBUs, develops and implements policies and programs in the areas of forecasting, coordination, transaction (proposal and task order) management, asset deployment, and related activities.

 Monitors overall program profitability and, performance to business plan. Identifies task order profitability issues and in-service engineering requirements, develops corrective actions, coordinates and monitors implementation of corrective actions to improve task order profitability and service expectations.

 Directs and oversees the completion of customer program reviews. Establishes the objectives, standards, methods, tools and content for the collection and presentation of customer program information (Program Review and Status Review Meetings).

 Maintains and assists with the development of the business relationship with the assigned customers. Coordinates all customer-related visits.

 Coordinates the efforts of customer program and service personnel to ensure achievement of the tactical/strategic segment objectives while maintaining positive customer relations.

 Monitors and analyzes customer needs and expectations and develops appropriate measures of performance for the customer programs. Monitors customer satisfaction within the assigned segment and provides responsive recommendations and insights to achieve short-term and long-term customer satisfaction.

 Provides management with reports on the customer needs, concerns, forecasts, accounts receivable, profitability, competitive activities and potential for new products and/or services.

 Responsible for maintenance and update of the opportunity Bid Pipeline

 Responsible for timely updates to the Alliance Portal

 Exercises authority in hiring, training, career development, performance appraisal, salary adjustments, promotion, discipline, health, safety and the general employee relations of direct reports.

 Responsible for management of assigned budget.

 Responsible for all continuous improvement initiatives for customer programs.

 Actively participates in the appropriate management team(s), assisting with the development and realization of strategic plans, budgets, goals, and outcomes.

 Contributes to the development of strategic business plans, business development proposals, marketing initiatives and in the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, quotes and other projections.

 Responsible for facility security

 Responsible for building a lasting, effective prime/subcontract relationship, and monitoring and reporting Alliance Team participation.

 Responsible for managing affordability through lean operations that provide effective support

 Responsible to leverage the best team skills and infrastructure for each task order

 Carries out special projects as assigned.   

 

 

Position Requirements

 

 BBA or BS degree in business administration, commerce, or engineering.

 Program Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent

 Familiarity with DOD Series 5000 Acquisition Certification (Level II certified is preferred)

 5 years of experience with DOD Series 5000 acquisition or account management experience in an Air Force environment.

 Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.

 Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.

 Thorough knowledge of company processes, instructions, export compliance, and respective business segment.

 Working knowledge of products within the market segment, management computer systems, and PC’s in the current company operating system environment.
