Job Description
We are in search of an outstanding Medical Director with top notch medical skills to lead an established staff of outstanding Medical Providers in both a clinical and administrative role. 
 
With a brand new facility being built this fall, there has never been a more exciting time to be a part of this organization.  This facility is located near Coeur D'Alene, ID and Spokane, WA.

Job Description:

  • Reports Directly to CEO
  • Outpatient only and no call
  • 50%/50% split between admin and direct patient care
  • Flexible to work schedule including 4 day work week
  • Medical Director has tremendous administrative support including an administrative assistant. (A rare find in FQHCs)
  • 6 other providers (3 FP MDs and 3 mid levels)
  • Interacts with the community and and enjoys teaching

 Qualifications:

  • BC or BE Family Practice - if BE must become BC in 6 months 

  • Eligible for Idaho Medical License

  • Maintain current Idaho Board of Medicine licensure as Supervising Physician without restriction.

  • Minimum three (3) years as a licensed physician required.

  • Three (3) years experience in a management/supervisory capacity of professional individuals including at least one (1) year leadership, with prior supervision/leadership of medical professionals strongly preferred.

  • Maintain current Idaho Controlled Substance Registration issued by the Idaho Board of Pharmacy.

  • Maintain current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency registration.

  • Maintain current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

  • Completion of degree as Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited university.

  • Completion of Residency program in Family Practice required.

  • Successful completion of background investigation

  • Prior experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred.
