Exclusive to Allen Recruitment - Our client is an Irish owned R&D company based in Dublin South. They are seeking a passionate functional Software Tester to join their team. This is a great opportunity for you to also gain good experience with selenium automaton toolset if they haven’t done so.  

Responsibilities

• Creation of test scripts and scenarios
• Testing of software components in line with test plans and specifications
  • Ensuring correct operation of software
  • Regression testing
• Recording of test results
• Recording the details of faults detected during test cycles
• Review of product documentation for input into future test plans and specifications
• Input into test plans and specifications
• Status / progress reporting against agreed plans and schedules

Skills

• 3 years experience of working in a structured software testing environment
• Testing financial applications
• ISEB qualified Testers prefered
• Understanding and experience of the MS Windows, Unix and Linux environment
• Experience of a relational database (Oracle) and SQL
• The use of automated testing tools would be an advantage
