Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong knowledge of web development techniques using HTML, CSS, Javascript and PERL.

The Software Engineer will work under the direction of the Technical Team Leader and the Engineering Manager to convert existing features in the market leading ChannelOnline product into a modern web framework. Crucial to the position will be an ability to understand and document existing features, validate use cases for the feature and implement the feature into the new framework

REQUIREMENTS:

* BS or MS in computer science or equivalent
training and experience.

* Knowledge using PERL to deliver web centric applications.
* Technical analytical, debugging and
problem-solving skills
* Has a propensity to adapt to many different
facets of software development quickly and
efficiently
* Strong desire to learn new technologies and
techniques
* Solid organizational, time management, and
prioritization skills
* Ability to establish professional
relationships with team members
* Superior written and verbal communication
skills
* Must successfully pass a background check

* Java, J2EE Web development,
JSP/Freemarker
* Spring MVC
* HTML/JavaScript/CSS
* JDBC/SQL, JPA/Hibernate
* NoSQL, Hadoop, MapReduce
* GWT, FLEX

* XML Streaming API's
