Job Description

Rapidly-growing digital marketing agency specializing in advanced Digital Marketing Strategy including Web and Mobile Design and Development, Social Media Marketing, Digital Paid Media Strategy, Planning and Management, Search Engine Optimization, and Analytics located in Chicago, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Portland, OR and San Francisco has an immediate career opening for a professional individual to excel as an Account Director in Scottsdale, AZ.

Responsibilities:

As an Account Director you must be a driver of change, a solution oriented thinker, understand the depth and breadth of ethology’s services, and be able to advise clients on strategies to meet their marketing objectives generally around growth, cost reduction and performance improvement.  You must be able to understand marketing planning processes and specifically feel comfortable budgeting and forecasting.  You will work as part of a cross functional team.

If you have the ability to do this:

  • Forge strong professional relationships with world-class clients
  • Provide concise client communication and reports
  • Maintain effective client call frequency schedule
  • Fully understand search and social campaign strategies, goals, and performance
  • Perform client engagement discovery and evaluation calls
  • Create, manage, review, and analyze client-facing reports
  • Help the team exceed client-identified business objectives
  • Monitor and convey industry trends to clients
  • Provide clear client feedback to internal performance teams

Qualifications:

  • BA from an accredited school; MBA preferred
  • 5-10 years of account management or strategy in digital marketing 
  • Ideal candidate will have mix of agency and client side experience
  • Thorough understanding of earned, owned and paid media strategies and tactics and how they work together to drive results
  • Up to date knowledge of the latest digital trends and how brands are employing them successfully in their marketing mix
  • Proven ability to navigate large client organizations and experience with large brands
  • Excellent track record of client relationship building
  • Ability to represent and promote ethology in a professional manner and demonstrate value added service to clients
  • Ability to develop and motivate a team and assist in the advancement of the Client Services discipline
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and outstanding presentation abilities
  • Ability to effectively manage several projects and/ or accounts at once
  • Experience across the Digital spectrum including Web and Mobile Design and Development, Social Media, Digital Paid Media and Search Engine Optimization
