Sr. Process Engineer

Northern New Jersey (Relocation Provided)

We are seeking an experienced engineer to help supervise existing process engineers and perform process design on multiple projects. This individual will be primed for the Process Management role which will be available within 1 year (if they are interested).

- Develops and executes process simulations for proprietary process technologies

- Prepares detailed material and energy balances / utility balances

- Designs or establishes duty requirements for major equipment items

- Prepares process data sheets and sketches as required

- Performs optimization studies including development and evaluation of flow sheet lternatives

- Develops and completes economic studies and comparisons as may be appropriate (ROI’s NPV’s, etc)

- Prepares PFD’s and supports P&ID development as may be required

- Participates in field technical service activities and catalyst service visits on an advisory basis (loading and unloading reactors, new plant startups, revamp re-starts, etc.)

Requirements:

B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. An M.S. is desirable, but not required

At least 10 years process engineering experience with an engineering and/or petrochemical company or licensor
