NetEffects is seeking a Software Engineer 

Candidate will be responsible for the technical analysis, development, testing, documentation, implementation and maintenance of software for settlement and reconciliation application. These duties include: coding development to requirements and design specifications, creating and executing unit/system test plans, creating implementation support documentation, participate in project status meeting as necessary, and provide implementation support to all environments as necessary. Additional duties include: adherence to all policies and procedures, on-call rotation support as needed and other tasks as required. 

Experience: 

• 5-7+ years COBOL programming experience
• DB2 and SQL experience a must
• JCL, File-Aid, and SyncSort experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills: 

• Electronic Payments industry experience with a focus on Settlement, Reconciliation and General Ledger
• ACI Payments Manager Application
• QMF for Windows or equivalent
• IBM Data Studio

Education:  

• BS Degree or equivalent combination of experience and formal education
