EPIC IT Director of Applications Services, Ohio

Healthcare Staffing Resource is currently looking for an experienced EPIC IT Director of Applications Services for a client in Ohio. The Director of Application Services aligns the application vision with business strategy by provisioning and managing appropriate state of the art applications and technologies in the most cost effective and efficient manner. The Director of Application Services is also responsible for all aspects of planning, developing, implementing and managing application software initiatives across Genesis. This individual maintains existing enterprise applications and system, while providing direction in all technology-related issues in support of application acquisition, implementation, management and support assuring alignment with the values, vision and strategic direction of Genesis HealthCare System.  Models behaviors congruent with Genesis Mission and Values and promotes consistent adherence to the values within the organization.·  Masters Degree in related field required ·  3 years hospital/health care experience required ·  5 years experience directing applications and applications teams required ·  Extensive project management experience including large, complex, high-risk projects ·  Extensive knowledge and experience administering and managing large enterprise-wide software applications including Epic, Peoplesoft, Fuji Synapse, ERP and CRM
