We are recruiting for a Senior Energy Manager for our client who an integrated, multi-disciplinary consultancy is offering a broad range of engineering, transport and environmental services for sustainable development, regeneration and infrastructure projects.
Due to an increased workload in energy services there is now a need to expand the existing energy team with enhanced capability in order for them to expand their offering to clients. The energy projects are delivered across both the private and public sectors. In addition to producing and delivering energy strategies for major new land development projects, they support local authorities in developing energy and carbon policies. Recently, their support for the renewable energy developer sector has grown in a number of areas, especially off-shore focused wind energy projects.
Our client is therefore looking for a new member of the business wide energy team to take responsibility
for developing the portfolio of energy models and tools and to provide mathematical, economic and
technical due diligence on the low carbon/energy project outputs
To fulfill this role, you will need relevant experience in the renewable/low carbon energy
sector. In addition to a good understanding of renewable energy technology, energy distribution
and the barriers to energy project development, you will need to be capable of working in a
consultancy environment, be highly numerate a good communicator and relish the challenge of
working across a number of projects for a wide range of clients.
