BuildASign.com is a fast-growing self-funded ecommerce powerhouse in Austin, with solid and rapidly-increasing growth, an expanding customer base, and a lot of energy.  We are seeking a Product Manager to join our marketing team to help us continue our already large e-commerce presence.  An ideal candidate will be innovative, creative, flexible, and self-motivated.  Solid communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are critical.

Responsibilities

• Primary liaison between marketing and production
• Analyze pricing curves and execute price optimization tests
• Manage existing third-party production partnerships and source new production partners
• Monitor production capacity and sales volume; identify and plan for potential overflow situations
• Manage product details on the website, responsible for accurate content and effective presentation
• Explore and review new-product opportunities, especially in partnership with third-parties
• Identify promotion and discount opportunities, based on fluctuations in demand, production costs, and available capacity
• Understand and validate unit costs, developing fluency in our unit economics

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Related Experience
• Bachelors Degree from a reputable university (Masters Preferred)
• Experience with Internet Product management or the print industry is a plus
• Experience with launching and marketing products on an E-commerce site
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing  preferred
• Superior analytical prowess to distill complex specifications into project reality
• Research and analytical skill and experience
• Strong negotiation, organizational, and facilitation skills.
• Self-starter / self-motivated, capable of staying on track and pursuing solutions without supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Data Manipulation skills (e.g. Excel Macros, Pivot Tables, SQL, eCommerce Analytics)
