Summary: The Lead Consultant would lead a multidisciplinary Customer and Marketing Analytics team working on a global delivery model (Onsite and Offshore resources) designed to work with multiple Business Units; drive incremental business performance through analytical opportunity identification; answer unstructured business problems; identify target-rich environments for marketing activity and design execution approaches, which span multiple marketing channels; think through personalization strategies; design new innovative analytically driven business processes for Customer and Marketing Analytics
Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in managing relationship within client, developing vertical expertise and understanding of the issues facing the client as well as horizontal expertise in solving specific issues.
- The Analyst will be an active leader for the offshore team. Managing the resourcing and other operational issues would fall under the purview of this role
- The Lead Consultant would be responsible for meeting revenue and other KPI targets for the account
- In addition to the above, the lead consultant would also be required to play the role of a pre-sales consultant as and when required
Requirements:
- 8-10 years professional experience in business or consulting, preferably in an analytical marketing environment
- Familiar with data analysis tools and techniques – SAS, SPSS, SQL, etc.
- Retail Experience Preferred
- Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
- Emphasis on continuous process improvement
- Extremely organized, high energy
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, SAS Macros and other programming tools - ability to perform statistical analysis on large datasets would be an added skills
- Highly skilled in strategic problem solving especially in situations of high ambiguity
- Demonstrated ability to develop and apply information-driven analytic and quantitative approaches to solving complex business issues in a practical manner – with tangible results
- Active curiosity – Must enjoy gathering and digging deeply into data to identify issues and solve problems
- Strong work ethic complemented by a positive, can-do attitude
- Experience in information-dense, customer-facing industry (traditional or online retailing, retail financial services, wireless, etc.)
- Multi-channel experience preferred – familiar with both in-store/branch and online analytics
- Excellent communication skills: Listening, verbal and written. Experience developing communications and presenting to senior management
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics etc ;
