Join a fast growing and profitable web-based start-up. Our client is looking for a proven Sr. Software Engineer with strong Server-side Java muscles!! The Sr. SWE will be a key part of the core development team. Candidates must possess a good understanding of, and practical production experience with, web based Enterprise Level Application Development.

Responsibilities:

• Java server-side development (new feature development and upgrade)
• Scalable, robust J2EE subsystems and components on MySQL
• Lead technical direction of project/product
• Define, design and develop new features and services that will be integrated into the existing architecture
• Work directly with product management and sales

Requirements:

• 6+ years building server-side applications using Servlets at a SaaS or Web App company
• 6+ years working with MySQL and some schema, index and SQL design
• Should be expert level with JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, CSS, Apache Tomcat and similar containers
• Strong experience writing high performance, highly scalable systems
• History of writing high quality, reuseable code, quickly
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer Science degree (Bachelors, Post-grad) in Computer Science or equivalent.
