Financial Additions has partnered with a fast growing, entreprenuerial company to find a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. Our client is a publicly traded REIT and is experiencing tremendous growth, this is an newly created position due to that growth.  Responsibilities include:

• Perform and supervise monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closes
• Prepare management reporting package
• Prepare global accounting consolidation
• Document and ensure compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley
• Prepare supporting schedules for quarterly reviews, interim and annual audit, and other external financial compliance activities
• Provide requested schedules to assist in the preparation of financial forecast, and SEC filings
• Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
• CPA is highly preferred
• Must have between 2 to 3 years of accounting experience, including experience Big 4, mid-tier, or national public accounting firm
• Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented
• Ability to improve current processes
• Must have very strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact with all levels within the organization
