Job Description
Are you experienced in farm service centre facility operations?
Drake has partnered with an international leader in the agriculture industry with over a century of delivering excellence to to its customers. Our client has an immediate need for an experienced Facilty Assistant in their Congress, Saskatchewan location.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will be an extremely service driven team player whose key focuses align with our clients' with regards to service... safety... and productivity! This person must thrive on interpersonal interactions, productivity efficiencies and have a strong mechanical aptitude.
Job Description
Reporting directly to the Facility Department Manager, the Facility Assistant will have the direct responsibility and accountability for insuring safety and efficiency with regards to all physical operations within their Farm Service Center including the assurance of adherence to all fire and safety standards.
Responsibilities will also include continual improvement for service, safety and productivity by following all existing controls while making recommendations for new improvements.
The successful candidate will also insure adherence to best practices with regards to providing excellent customer service and promoting a positive and friendly atmosphere that is attractive to both customers and staff.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of grains and agronomy that will be a balance of education and training with a strong mechanical aptitude. The confidence and ability to make decisions, trouble shoot and problem solve are critical.
Other requirements include:
• Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of all farm service center machinery
• Specific experience operating and cleaning grain-drying equipment
• Knowledge of methods to minimize grain and crop inventory losses
