Responsibilities

    Develop websites, web applications & content management systems
    Connect to third-party information using various API techniques
    Develop requirements and planning documentation
    Collaborate with designers & marketing to develop amazing products
    Set up, manage, & configure hosting environments
    Set up and maintain Git and SVN repositories for active and archived projects
    Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code
    Maintain working knowledge of new development software, trends, and practices related to your responsibilities

Qualifications

    Expert knowledge PHP & MySQL
    Familiarity with content management & eCommerce solutions such as WordPress, Drupal, Expression Engine, and Magento
    Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript (jQuery)
    Functional knowledge of version control (GIT)
    Functional knowledge of performance optimization techniques
    Functional knowledge of Linux, Unix, & Apache
    Strong understanding of all latest and legacy browser capabilities, including mobile platforms
    Fluent understanding of object-oriented programming techniques
    Familiarity with Unix terminal commands
    Tough skin & excellent time management skills
    Strong oral & written communication skills with both teams & clients
