Job Description
The Release Analyst is accountable for operational day-to-day Release Management activities, including: reviewing proposed software releases and implementation schedules for the production environment; analyzing recommendations to mitigate risk and/or improve the quality or viability of the release for the Sears Holdings Information & Technology Group (I&TG); executing established Release Management policies, processes and procedures; communicating/maintaining Release Management schedules; updating related Release Management artifacts; tracking Release Management metrics; making recommendation on Release Management process improvements; and participating in Release process efforts.
The Release Analyst is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and providing governance for the release and/or installations of software packaged for the Sears Holdings Information & Technology Group (I&TG) production environment.
