We are currently seeking a highly motivated Direct Hire E-Commerce Travel Merchandising Manager for a Las Vegas based company. The E-Commerce Travel Merchandising Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of product merchandising for the travel/e-commerce websites including writing content.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for online revenue generation through the travel site
• Responsible for developing and presenting merchandising strategy
• Tactically execute the merchandising strategy including promotions to meet established booking objectives
• Develop and implement rigorous processes to test, analyze and report on success
• Responsible for travel sites customer engagements including giving them unique reasons to buy through smart and innovative showcasing of company offers
• Guide all aspects of growing a global travel site including driving growth, bottom line revenue, and market share
• Ensure customer engagement including providing them with unique reasons to buy through our smart and innovative travel site showcasing of our company's offers
• Interact with a large indirect team of partners, including Marketing, Technology, Travel Suppliers Sales and Customer Experience
• Experience supervising 1-20 employees in the E-commerce Travel Merchandising department
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
• Interview, hire and train employees; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 4 years of merchandising/e-commerce experience and/or related experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of travel booking engines and Salesforce.com
• Experience effectively supervising 1 to 20 employees
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
