Business Analyst (closed)
You will be the primary contact for customers and all groups within the organization for small scale projects. Responsible for end to end project management that includes scope management and estimation. Ensures projects are completed on time, within budget and with minimum defects. Adheres to methodologies adopted by the firm. Project management via creation and maintenance of projects, plans, schedule effort estimation and tracking. Liaison between customers and internal groups to ensure delivery of projects on time and within budget. Ensures project delivery in conformance with company software development life cycle methodologies. Conducts status meetings and facilitates issues resolution and risk mitigation. Assists in providing status reports to senior staff in larger scale projects. Works with business users to define business requirements and create functional specifications.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
At least one to five years of experience in a systems environment, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Requires specific knowledge of business analyst skills in a technology Knowledge of securities industry and/or related financial services experience (Separately Managed Accounts, Unified Managed Account, Mutual Funds )
Strong planning and project organization skills. Negotiation, decision making, problem solving, influencing skills.
Broad knowledge of the firm and key functionsExperience working on SDLC projects
Broad knowledge of systems and applications, Fiserv (APL), Workflow, Model and Proposal Applications.
Strong judgment and leadership skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in high pressure, high volume environment.
Effectively use Microsoft Office applications and PC proficiency in Windows-based programs.Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related discipline is preferred; a degree in technology is a plus.
