Position requires a senior level techno-functional project manager with prior experience implementing and/or managing CMS 5010 initiative. Desired is also CMS ICD-10 project management experience. Must have experience with "all" the transaction sets and if possible ICD 10. The Project Manager must have experience on multiple 5010 or ICD implementations, be comfortable with leading state government client sessions defining requirements and overseeing the Gap Analysis, and managing development staff to establish and meet targeted milestones. He needs to be the type that can unify groups and technologies between the states we have as clients. The PM will work closely with the client and our own business analysts and SMEs.

The right candidate will possess a minimum of seven years of healthcare experience in leadership roles; five years of in-depth, detailed project lead experience for healthcare IT projects; PMP desirable; previous gap analysis work experience; thorough understanding of HIPAA; and five years of healthcare application implementation experience. This position will require extensive travel so candidates must be willing to travel at least 80 percent for select project work. Although the preferred location for the candidate is Atlanta, GA, candidates can be based anywhere while not on projects. In addition to the above experience, special consideration will be given to those candidates who have a strong understanding of ICD-9 and are educated on how it will change with ICD-10 as well as the differences between 4010 and 5010.
