Job Description

Looking for someone very familiar with physician and nurse practitioners documents (licenses, board certificates, CVs, etc.), Very familiar with the provider enrollment process including insurance plan enrollment applications, Some knowledge of Out-of-State Medicaid’s would be a plus, Strong communication skills, Strong computer skills (especially in Microsoft Work, Excel, and Outlook). They need someone with 5 + years experience in Provider Services and she would like to see at least an associate’s degree - business/healthcare administration.  This department maintains the credentialing and licensing for the doctors and providers. They also make sure that the doctors are enrolled to take the various types of insurance (Omnicare, PPOM, BC, etc.). Out of state Medicaid is helpful because for ex: someone from FL is here and their child is injured and seen at Children's hospital - those bills will need to be reviewed and submitted for approval. 

•5 years or more experience in enrolling physicians and

      nurse practitioners into various insurance plans for a large

      group practice, hospital network, or academic group.

 •Intermediate knowledge of hospital privileges and

      malpractice insurance.

 •Associates Degree or higher preferred

 •Strong organizational and communicative skills

 Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel,

          Microsoft Outlook, and the Internet.

 •Experience in Out-of-State Medicaid enrollment applications

     a plus.
