Security Program Manager (closed)
The Security Program Management (SPM) group in Global Product Security
(GPS) defines and manages cross-corporate programs to ensure the security of Oracle products. As part of the Corporate Architecture division, and reporting to Oracle's Chief Security Officer, SPM's primary responsibility is defining security standards and practices for secure product development, and ensuring that those standards and practices are consistently applied throughout Oracle's development organizations. Key areas include secure coding standards, secure design and development practices, application of automated security analysis and testing tools, establishment of secure-by-default configurations, developer security training, and managing the alignment of newly acquired organizations' secure development practices with those of Oracle.

The ideal candidate for this position has excellent program management and communication skills; knowledge of Oracle products and development processes; familiarity with development organizations a plus; an understanding of software security vulnerabilities and secure design principles. Desired skills include influence management, the ability to plan and organize projects, ability to track details while keeping sight of larger goals, and the ability to make sound decisions based on both technical and business considerations.
