Allstates Technical is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a fulltime role with our client in Birmingham, AL. This role with be responsible for:

·         Developing and maintaining large-scale enterprise web-based software applications.

·         Conducting systems impact analysis

·         Perform some architectural level ideas for overall system development

·         Work with IT Infrastructure teams (e.g. server, network and database) in designing solutions

·         Installs/configures server systems

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, EE, or related area

·         5+ years Java/Java EE experience -- is required

·         Web Services experience -- is required (e.g. JSP, JSF, XML, XSLT, W3C, SOAP, WSDL)

·         Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience

·         Java Message Service (JMS) experience (or another vendors)

·         Must be able to troubleshoot Messaging problems

·         Java framework (i.e. Hibernate/Ibatis, Spring, Maven/Hudson (preferred)

·         Visual C++ and/or .NET-- is a plus

·         Tibco experience -- is a plus  

·        Creative thinker; Open to new ideas to solving problems

·        Requires very strong analytical ability

·         Solid written and verbal communication skills
