Functional Title       : Master Scheduler

 Job Description:

Job Summary:

Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates according to sales forecasts and customer orders.

Essential Job Duties and responsibilities:

·        Prepare the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and coordinate with the Production Planners to ensure the MPS is executed

·        Maintain system in accordance with effective and efficient practices to ensure achievement of company inventory goals and the plant and materials department objectives

·        Develop long range production plans and models monthly and quarterly using ASCP

·        Monitor sales order backlog daily and work with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service and Sales departments to minimize backlog

·        Perform annual capacity, inventory and production analysis and pre-season production ramp up schedule

·        Monitor assigned inventory levels of finished goods and working processes

·        Review and implement planning techniques

·        Maintain maximum customer satisfaction with the timely delivery of quality produce

·        Provide supervision in absence of manager

·        Ensure 5 S and quality standards are met

·        Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree in related field 

·         Seven (7) years planning and/or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment using MRP/ERP system

·         One (1) year of supervisor and/or leadership experience

·         Able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English

·         Math skills: Able to add, subtract, divide & multiply

·         Experience using Oracle MRP and MS Office

·         Experience in a constrained manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualificatios

·         Experience at company with molding

·         Experience in balancing customer order demands and cost of changeovers
