Duties and Responsibilities:

The Senior SQL Expert Engineer will be part of AIRCOM International Consultancy Unit and will develop and deliver OPTIMA reports to customers. The Engineer will be responsible for the development and optimization of report SQLs. Support report writers on SQL optimization. Work closely with technology experts to develop fast and accurate SQLs for OPTIMA reports.

•              Under supervision Develop and Deliver OPTIMA reports to customers

•              Follow the processes defined for report writing activities  

Experience and Qualifications:

The Senior SQL Expert Engineer will be part of AIRCOM International Consultancy Unit and will develop and deliver OPTIMA reports to customers. The Engineer will be responsible for the development and optimization of report SQLs. Support report writers on SQL optimization. Work closely with technology experts to develop fast and accurate SQLs for OPTIMA reports.

•              Under supervision Develop and Deliver OPTIMA reports to customers

•              Follow the processes defined for report writing activities  

•              Educated to degree level or equivalent (preferably in, Software Engg, Computer Sciences or Electronic Engineering)

•              Ability to communicate clearly on the phone e/mail and in person

•              3-5 years of experience in the field of SQL writing and optimization

•              Strong knowledge of ORACLE SQL and optimization skills

•              Working with large data volumes, ability to create complex but readable SQLs

•              Knowledge of ORACLE hints and their best application

•              Basic understanding of Telecommunication technologies or previous Telecom experience is advantageous

•              Knowledge of the tools of AIRCOM International

•              Have an aptitude to learning and understanding new engineering software

•              Energetic, flexible, team player, able to use own initiative

•              Be comfortable with working to tight deadlines

•              Be able to demonstrate a methodical and consistent approach to their work

•              Technical knowledge of the Windows operating systems
