We need Developers with a passion for writing brilliant PHP code that powers cool stuff on the internet. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been shackled to Microsoft at work, so long as you’ve been hacking in PHP at home and have some projects you can show us, then we want to hear from you. 

The Role

BugFinders is a unique crowdsourcing solution for software testing.  Backed with investment, we are tackling the massive software testing market to make life easier for developers. We provide a simple pay-per-bug model to take the hassle of development and software testing.

You will get your hands on some really interesting kit. Building a genuinely exciting enterprise product with rich features and ingenious eCommerce functionality will be your focus. The tools will include PHP, MYSQL, HTML 5 and CSS 3.

The right PHP Developer will play a key role in realising the next 5 years’ worth of product ideas and become an early member of one of the most exciting tech teams in Europe.

Person Spec

In order to apply, you will be a passionate PHP Developer.

Ideally, you will already use PHP at work to build an exciting web product but if not, don’t worry. If you use PHP, Python or Ruby at home every night and can point us in the direction of your github then we’d still like to hear from you.

As a person, you’ll be full of ideas for cool stuff that you want to develop. You’ll be itching to get your hands on the latest tools (like NoSQL etc) and the most modern development methods. Most importantly, you’ll be able to share ideas and contribute to a brilliant team.

Here’s our tech ‘wish list’ (don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes):

• Rockstar PHP development skills
• Strong SQL skills
• Able to pull something together quickly that works
• Quality coding with few bugs
• A passion for the latest web tools: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (Ajax / JQuery)
