JOB DESCRIPTION
Commissioning Agents is seeking Automation/ Control Systems Engineers in the Northeast. Locations include (Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania)
The Automation or Control Systems Engineer will provide technical and consulting services to the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and other industries world-wide. This is not an IT position. The engineer will work with BAS/BMS and PLC or DCS systems. Experience with bio-pharma manufacturing and controls equipment and systems is required. Responsibilities include developing test scripts and protocol execution and field inspections, as well as summary reporting. Experience with BAS, SCADA, DCS, PLCs is desired. MES, DeltaV and Syncade experience is of special value.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills and detail oriented
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
- Must be willing to work (compensated) overtime, including some weekends
- Be able to pass random illegal drug screening.
- Ability to learn and work in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of good documentation practices
- Willing to travel to meet project requirements
- We are seeking individuals with some combination of the following education and experience:
- Four-year degree in engineering or science or extensive commissioning experience
- Former U.S. Navy nuclear-trained personnel, officer or enlisted
- Experience testing process control systems
