Position: Applications Manager

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Start Date: ASAP

Est. Duration of the 1st. stage: 6 months+

Type: Contract / Contract to Hire

Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.

Description:

Our Client, a government institution, is looking for an Applications Manager Consultant.



Responsibilities:

Perform evaluations of existing systems and people

Make recommendations of how to upgrade systems and/or where to add key people in certain areas

Implement and follow through on those recommendations once approved.

Work with 4 ColdFusion developers, 1 Mainframe (Hitachi EX44), and 2 SQL developers.

 

Environment:

400 applications, 200 of those are custom developed

ColdFusion

SQL Server and Oracle databases

Oracle Financials

 

Requirements:

Experience in IT (5+ years)

Leadership experience (2+ years)

Experience performing evaluations of application software     

Experience with ColdFusion

Experience with Microsoft .Net

Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle

Experience upgrading ColdFusion applications into .Net (preferred)

US Citizens and Permanent Residents only

Extensive background check (no felonies ever)
