Position Overview:

The Electrical Engineer will perform electrical design engineering reporting to Electrical Supervisor.

 Essential Job Functions:

Ø       Required experience of 8 years or more in the materials handling business

Ø       Able to work on major bulk material handling projects; i.e., crushers, conveyors, etc.

Ø       Basic knowledge of major electrical equipment; i.e., large transformers, MV motors, MV & LV SWGR, VFD's etc.

Ø       Able to generate and review electrical drawings such as single-line diagrams, schematics, interconnection diagrams, etc.

Ø       Knowledge of latest industrial codes and standards; i.e.,  IEEE/ANSI, NEMA, CSA, NEC, CEC, NESC, IEC, etc.

Preferred Technical Requirements/Knowledge:

Ø       Power

Ø       Instrumentation and Control

Ø       E-Plan™ and AutoCAD®

Ø       Some control - PLC programming

Education:

Ø       Possess a bachelor or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
